Service Quality and Customer Follow-up
Evaluates your ability to keep your commitments to customers, keep them informed without waiting for them to chase you, check their satisfaction and maintain consistent service quality, even under heavy workload.
A service quality test looks at what happens after the first point of contact: is the promise made to the customer kept, does information reach them, does the case move forward when nobody is watching it? Perceived quality is built largely on these follow-up steps, which are less visible than the initial welcome. It also becomes more fragile when request volumes rise, when a colleague is away or when another department is slow to act.
The test puts candidates in front of commitments at risk, case handovers, the end of on-site jobs and overloaded days, in banking, healthcare, IT and retail. It reveals how rigorous their follow-up is and how they decide between several customers. For a manager, it is a way to identify the people a service team can rely on over time.
What this test measures
- How a deadline promised to a customer is managed once it becomes uncertain along the way
- The care taken when handing a case over to a colleague or another department
- Checking satisfaction once the job, the delivery or the service has been completed
- Choosing between several simultaneous customer requests when there is not enough time for all of them
- Keeping service levels steady during a surge in activity or a period of strain
Examples of situations in the test
- 1A case handler taking over a transferred colleague's files with no clear record of past customer exchanges
- 2A store team swamped on an exceptionally busy day, with queues growing at every counter
- 3A supplier announcing a delay that puts the delivery date promised to a business customer at risk
- 4A run of middling scores in a training provider's customer feedback, without a single written comment
About this test
This test uses situational judgement tests (SJT), true/false questions and prioritisation exercises to assess your real behaviours. Each answer is weighted: there is no obvious "wrong" answer.
How to read your result
High result
A high score describes someone who is reliable in their commitments, stays on top of their cases and protects service quality even as the workload rises.
Result to develop
A score to develop suggests that follow-up slips in certain configurations, such as case transfers, delays or busy days. The report specifies which ones and suggests simple habits to make the service more dependable.

Frequently asked questions
What exactly does this service quality test measure?
It looks at the candidate's behaviour throughout the service relationship: meeting announced deadlines, keeping the customer informed, handing over cases, checking satisfaction and maintaining service levels during busy periods. The initial welcome and complaint handling only come into play when they affect how a case is followed up.
How is it different from a complaint handling test?
Complaint handling deals with a moment of crisis, when the customer is already unhappy. Service quality sits before and after that moment: everything that keeps dissatisfaction from arising, then what makes sure a resolved problem really is resolved. The two tests complement each other for any customer-facing role.
Is it relevant for technical roles?
Yes. Field technicians, support teams, project managers and site supervisors also make commitments to customers and have to follow them through. Several scenarios take place at the end of a job, during a system go-live, after a temporary repair or when another team has pushed back the schedule.
How long does the test take, and in which languages?
The test has 20 questions, picked at random from a wider bank, to be completed in 35 minutes. It mixes workplace scenarios, statements to judge true or false and actions to rank. You need to log in, you choose between French, English and Arabic, and an AI report then sets out your strengths, areas for improvement and recommendations.
