Managing Professional Stress
Assesses the ability to recognize, regulate and manage stress in demanding professional contexts, while maintaining quality and working relationships.
A stress management test shows how a person keeps their judgment and the quality of their relationships when pressure builds: impossible deadlines, an aggressive client, a live crisis, a workload spilling into private life. Pressure is part of most demanding jobs. What makes the difference is the ability to recognize what is happening inside, regulate one's reactions in the moment and preserve one's energy over time.
This online test offers workplace scenarios in which candidates must decide how to respond, what to handle first and how to protect themselves. It makes no medical diagnosis and does not replace advice from a health professional. It helps candidates understand their reflexes under strain, and helps recruiters gauge how robust a profile is for roles with a heavy emotional or operational load.
What this test measures
- Composure kept in the face of public criticism or a particularly hostile message
- How one ranks several competing emergencies without losing control of one's workload
- Attention paid to early signs of exhaustion and the response given to them
- The ability to remain a steady presence for colleagues during a serious incident
- How one balances professional demands and personal life during busy periods
Examples of situations in the test
- 1An operations manager facing a major outage, watched by the team throughout the handling of the incident
- 2A client advisor receiving a scathing email from a customer, with several people copied in
- 3A manager presenting results to an executive committee for the first time
- 4A fully remote employee who struggles to switch off at the end of the day and feels isolated
About this test
This test uses situational judgement tests (SJT), true/false questions and prioritisation exercises to assess your real behaviours. Each answer is weighted: there is no obvious "wrong" answer.
How to read your result
High result
A high score describes someone who keeps a cool head in tense moments, protects the quality of their work and interactions, and anticipates fatigue before it becomes a problem.
Result to develop
A score with room to grow indicates that pressure still weighs heavily on decisions or energy levels. The report identifies the situations that take the greatest toll and suggests strategies suited to the person's context.
Roles where this skill is decisive

Frequently asked questions
Is this stress management test a psychological test?
No. It assesses professional behaviors under pressure, built from real workplace situations. It does not measure clinical anxiety or a personality trait and is not a diagnosis. If you are struggling at work, a doctor or a psychologist remains the right person to talk to.
Which sources of stress does the test cover?
It covers a wide range of pressures: overload and tight deadlines, conflict and criticism, exposure in front of senior management, uncertainty about job security, isolation when working remotely, boredom on repetitive assignments. This variety makes it possible to see where a person holds up well and where they wear down faster.
Why use it in recruitment?
For high-stakes roles, resilience under pressure is often judged on gut feeling during the interview. Added to a campaign, the test brings a structured view: every candidate faces the same types of situations, and the company receives a behavioral report that helps it frame precise interview questions.
How does the test session work?
Once signed in, you have 35 minutes to answer 20 randomly chosen questions. The scenarios have no obvious answer, as every option is weighted. At the end, an AI-generated report presents your strengths, development areas and recommendations. It is best to answer spontaneously, the way you would really act.
