Contexte technique

A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt shows that a professional can lead continuous improvement projects within their own area, combining the statistical discipline of Six Sigma with the flow thinking of Lean. Several bodies award a Green Belt; this bank takes the ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt body of knowledge as its reference. The credential reaches well beyond IT. It suits quality leads, team managers and project managers in manufacturing, banking, healthcare, logistics and contact centres, wherever a process generates delays, defects or costs that need to come down in a measurable way.

According to ASQ, the exam is computer delivered and contains 110 questions, 100 of which are scored, with 4 hours 18 minutes of testing time. It is offered in English. What makes it demanding is that it does not stop at checking whether you can name the tools: it includes calculations and asks you to interpret results. Knowing what a capability index is will not get you far; you have to compute it, judge whether the process is capable and act on the answer. Likewise, picking the right hypothesis test for the type of data, reading a p-value, or telling common cause from special cause variation on a control chart are exactly where candidates who memorised definitions tend to slip.

This practice quiz is built to train that reasoning with data. The 40 questions drawn each session come from a bank of 200 items organised by DMAIC phase, with a deliberate emphasis on Measure and Analyze, where most of the calculation sits. Scenarios move between a production line, a bank branch, a hospital ward, a warehouse and a call centre, so you learn to recognise the right approach whatever the sector. Explanations walk through the expected reasoning or calculation and show why the other options fall short. Keep retaking the quiz until you regularly score above 75 per cent, which is a good sign that you have the method and not just the vocabulary.
